We are actively expanding our school-based services within Lake County Schools and seeking a passionate, dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our supportive team for a full-time, school-based placement.

Key Responsibilities


  • Clinical Assessments & Treatment Planning: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to classroom dynamics.

  • Classroom Implementation & Consultation: Collaborate directly with classroom teachers, ESE specialists, and school staff to integrate behavior interventions seamlessly into daily routines.

  • Supervision & Staff Coaching: Provide ongoing direct supervision, hands-on coaching, and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and school staff to ensure high treatment fidelity.

  • Data-Driven Analysis: Monitor client progress through daily data collection, conduct ongoing assessments, and make timely programming modifications.

  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in IEP meetings if arranged, consult with multidisciplinary educational teams, and maintain clear, supportive communication with caregivers.

Qualifications


  • Certification: Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) certification in good standing with the BACB.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a practicing BCBA preferred; experience within a school system, multidisciplinary setting, or pediatric population strongly preferred.

  • Clearances: Ability to pass a Level 2 background check and required school district clearance protocols for Lake County Schools.

  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to collaborative, ethical, and trauma-informed care.
