Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Usual Responsibilities

• Record inspection results in paper logs or quality software systems.
• Compare supplier certificates of conformance to purchase order requirements.
• Flag nonconforming material and route it to the quarantine area.
• Write rejection reports and send findings to purchasing and quality teams.
• Perform first article inspections on new or changed parts.
• Keep inspection benches, gauges, and sample areas clean and organized.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and purchased parts against drawings and specifications.
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Basic math skills including decimals and fractions.
• Attention to detail and steady documentation habits.
• Comfort working in a production or warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and tolerances.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certification in quality inspection or metrology.
• Experience with GD&T symbols and interpretation.
• Familiarity with CMM or optical measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Prior experience in receiving or incoming quality inspection.
