About Guild Technology GroupGuild Technology Group is a premier Value-Added Reseller (VAR) and strategic IT solutions partner. We architect the technology backbones that drive enterprise-level innovation across AI, Data Storage, Hybrid Cloud, and Advanced Security. Through OEM partnerships, we deliver infrastructure solutions that help our clients scale securely and efficiently. We are a customer-first organization built on responsiveness, technical excellence, and long-term trust.
The RoleWe are looking for a driven, client-connected Outside Sales Representative to own a territory, engage decision-makers face-to-face, and close complex IT infrastructure deals. This is a pure hunter role for a seasoned sales professional who already has an active book of business and the proven ability to generate revenue from existing relationships. You will operate with full autonomy in the field — calling on enterprise accounts, attending industry events, and positioning Guild's full portfolio against the competition.
If you have spent years building a network of IT buyers and are ready to leverage those relationships inside a high-growth VAR with deep OEM backing, this opportunity is designed for you. The Ideal Candidate Has spent a career building genuine relationships with IT buyers, not just working a lead list
Is comfortable owning a territory and holding themselves accountable to a number
Thrives in a commission-driven, entrepreneurial environment where performance is everything
Key Responsibilities Conduct face-to-face meetings, site visits, and executive presentations within your territory — this is an outside sales role requiring consistent field activity.
Leverage your existing book of business to immediately generate pipeline and close revenue from day one.
Sell complex data center solutions across Compute, Storage, Backup, Networking, and AI-driven infrastructure; include managed and professional services in every deal.
Identify, pursue, and close new enterprise-level accounts while executing a land-and-expand strategy within existing clients.
Build and maintain deep executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, VP of IT, and key Procurement leaders.
Partner with internal pre-sales architects and marketing to craft solution proposals tied to client business outcomes.
Represent Guild at regional industry events, trade shows, and OEM partner forums.
Compensation Structure- Base Pay: Negotiable for candidates who can demonstrate a current, verifiable active book of business with documented revenue history.
- Commission-Based: Uncapped commissions tied directly to closed revenue — your earning potential is limited only by your performance.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, dental, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. Requirements- IT Solutions Sales Experience — 3+ Years Required: Must have a minimum of 3 years of direct, hands-on experience selling IT infrastructure solutions to enterprise accounts. Candidates must have direct selling experience with one or more of the following OEM ecosystems : HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) — servers, storage, networking, partner programs ; Dell Technologies — PowerEdge, PowerStore, related solutions; Additional OEM experience is a plus
- Outside Sales Experience: This role requires a field-based sales professional with a demonstrated history of client-facing territory management, in-person executive presentations, and closing deals in the field — not inside or remote-only sales.
- Demonstrated success managing full-cycle, complex sales processes.
- Experience leading customer presentations and discussions with senior decision-makers.
Location & TravelCandidates must be based near a major US metropolitan business hub. This is a work-from-home base role with significant field activity expected — regular client meetings, territory travel, and attendance at regional industry events are core to success.
