LAPP is a family-owned innovator in cable and connection technology, founded in 1959 and headquartered in Stuttgart. With 5,800 colleagues across 80+ countries, we blend entrepreneurial spirit with long-standing values. At our Florham Park, NJ site, you’ll find a hands-on culture that prizes initiative, flexibility, and personal responsibility in a family-friendly environment where ideas are welcomed.
You start your morning walking the production floor, reviewing overnight maintenance logs and checking preventive tasks. A line goes down—your diagnostics quickly isolate a sensor input issue in a PLC-controlled station. You restore operation, document the fix, and collaborate with production and engineering to prevent recurrence. Later, you pull new conduit for a 480V three-phase drop, swap a failing VFD, and support a machinery relocation. Safety is second nature—LOTO every time—and you end the day closing PMs and suggesting reliability improvements.
Base salary: $90,000–$95,000 plus participation in LAPP's bonus plan.
Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401(k), HSA/FSA, Life Insurance, and more.
After thorough market analysis, LAPP considers experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other factors when determining base salary.
