Industrial Engineer

Local employer seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Industrial Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will drive operational excellence by optimizing warehouse processes, supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, experience working in warehouse or distribution environments, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. Responsibilites:- Support the configuration, implementation, and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Analyze workflows and develop process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality
• Develop and maintain labor standards, time studies, and production metrics
• Create dashboards, scorecards, and operational reports using Power BI and other reporting tools
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, and warehouse teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Lead projects involving WMS, Labor Management Systems (LMS), and material handling equipment
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Support facility projects, including warehouse layout design and AutoCAD-based planning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with labor standards, times studies, and continuous improvement initiatives preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BI
• Familiarity with WMS, LMS, and RF or voice-directed systems preferred
