Industrial Equipment Reliability Technician
At ProAmpac’s Elgin, IL facility, your day starts on 1st shift with a quick handoff from the team and a scan of the maintenance queue. A packaging line signals an unexpected fault—within minutes you’re diagnosing a drive issue, reviewing schematics, and getting production back on track. Before lunch, you complete a scheduled PM with precise documentation, then rebuild a gearbox and swap a bearing to prevent future downtime. The afternoon brings a PLC parameter change on a converting machine, a facility task on a chiller, and a final safety walk—because zero harm is the expectation, not the goal.
