Description

Structure Resources is seeking an Industrial General Superintendent to join one of our premier Electrical Design-Build contractors. This is a direct-hire opportunity with an award-winning electrical contractor that specializes in complex industrial and design-build projects across the country. This is a traveling position supporting large-scale industrial electrical construction projects nationwide.

They are looking for an Industrial General Superintendent with extensive experience leading large industrial electrical construction projects, managing multiple field teams, and overseeing operations across multiple jobsites. Experience in industrial environments such as water treatment, manufacturing, chemical processing, oil & gas, or similar heavy industrial facilities is highly preferred.

This position is responsible for overseeing field operations, workforce planning, project execution, safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction while providing leadership and mentorship to Superintendents, Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing manpower planning, labor allocation, project schedules, and field operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within company quality standards. They will also have strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), industrial electrical systems, commissioning activities, and experience collaborating with project management, engineering, customers, and field leadership teams.

Compensation:

  • $88-132K base
  • Company-paid travel expenses
  • Per diem when applicable
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of electrical construction experience in industrial environments
  • Active Journeyman Electrician License required
  • Ability to obtain a Master Electrician License within 12 months (if applicable)
  • Experience managing multiple projects and field teams simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical theory, and electrical safe work practices
  • Experience with manpower planning, scheduling, labor allocation, and workforce management
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems including motor controls, instrumentation, VFDs, and medium-voltage systems preferred
  • Willingness to travel nationally on a rotating schedule (17 days on / 4 days off)
