Build a precision-driven maintenance ecosystem that prevents failures, maximizes throughput, and safeguards people. As the site’s Reliability Strategist, you will operationalize ATS safety culture, codify best practices, and deliver measurable KPI gains through predictive, preventive, and precision maintenance.

Key outcomes

  • Safety and compliance: Visibly promote ATS safety expectations; ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ATS procedures.
  • Engineered improvements: Partner with internal and external customer teams to deliver solutions that increase reliability and flow.
  • Smart capital: Identify equipment replacement opportunities and present well-supported ROI cases.
  • Precision culture: Institutionalize operating systems, critical elements, and best practices that elevate precision maintenance.
  • RCM execution: Develop and maintain ESMPs grounded in Reliability-Centered Maintenance.
  • Predict to prevent: Integrate predictive, preventive, and precision strategies to control risk before failure and ensure optimal execution.
  • Analysis excellence: Lead FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Bad Actor elimination, and ATS Root Cause investigations.
  • WEM leadership: Use expert-level Work Execution Management to mentor teams and close strategy-session gaps.
  • KPI alignment: Collaborate with leadership to synchronize ATS and customer metrics.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in engineering (ABET) or equivalent heavy industrial maintenance, reliability, or operations experience.
  • 5+ years of reliability experience.
  • Proficiency across the reliability toolset, including Root Cause Analysis, RCM, and FMEA.
  • Master-level command of predictive technologies.
  • Vibration I Certification; Infrared I Certification.
  • Strong capability in machine health monitoring.
  • Coaching experience with Work Execution Management.
  • Solid grasp of electrical or mechanical components, tools, and design.
  • Ability to conduct FMEA, cause-and-effect diagrams, root cause failure analysis, life-cycle costing, and risk analysis.
  • Comfort with maintenance systems and Microsoft Office; strong analytics and decision-making.
  • Skilled communicator, facilitator, presenter, and technical writer.
  • Proven relationship building and cross-functional leadership.

Preferred qualifications

  • Leadership ambitions and growth mindset.
  • Experience in data trend analysis; vibration, motor current, and oil analysis; lubrication and hydraulic testing; laser alignment; nondestructive testing; infrared thermography; ultrasound and acoustic technologies; Weibull analysis; and Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Regulatory familiarity: cGMP, NETA, EPA, OSHA.
  • Ultrasound I; Maintenance Lubrication Analyst I.
  • CMRP/ARP/CRP/CRL certifications.
  • Green Belt and STS certifications.

Physical demands and working environment

  • Regular standing, walking, manual dexterity, reaching, climbing/balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; frequent talking/hearing; occasional sitting.
