PositionSummary
This positionisresponsibleforinstalls,troubleshootingand repairsofelectrical equipment inan industrial manufacturingsetting. TheMaintenance Technicianperformspreventive maintenance on machinery, interpretsschematics, and ensuresall systems comply with safety codes and local regulations. It is a highly hands-on role requiring strong problem-solving and diagnosticskillsthatsupportcompany goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mechanical/Electricalrepair of equipmentandmachines.
Repair or replace defective electrical components, wiring, and hardware
Diagnose electrical malfunctions, short circuits, and faulty wiring using diagnostic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes
Assemble and install new electrical wiring, conduits, and equipment
Must have the ability to read electrical schematics and prints
Conduct routine inspections on generators, motors, circuit breakers, and control panels to prevent future equipment failures
Keep accurate logs of routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Basic math skills andproblem-solvingmentality
Required to drive forklift

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
H.S Diploma/ GED
10yrs Maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Experience with Welding
10Experience withelectrical work(Industrial)
10 yrs power tools experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret written instructions/procedures
Ability tounderstand preventative maintenanceschedules
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Intermediate shop math required
REASONING ABILITY
Applyrational understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Handleproblems involving variables in a standardized situation.
Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessions.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Intermediatelevel of knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Exerting up to100lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50lbs offorce frequently and or up to20lbs of force constantly to move objects.
