Description

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, new product introductions, and operational improvements within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will focus on machining processes, equipment optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for precision machined components.
  • Support new product launches and process validation activities.
  • Optimize machining operations, including grinding, turning, honing, and milling.
  • Design tooling, fixtures, gauges, and manufacturing solutions.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Manage capital equipment projects and equipment upgrades.
  • Support PFMEA activities and process capability improvements.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and customers on manufacturability and quality requirements.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
  • Experience with machining processes such as grinding, turning, milling, or honing preferred.
  • Knowledge of SPC, root cause analysis, PFMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IATF quality standards.
  • Experience with CAD software and manufacturing process development.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.
