    Position: Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

    Location: Middletown, VA

    Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 pm - 11 pm Monday - Friday)

    How Will You Make an Impact?

    The Middletown site manufactures in vitro diagnostic reagents, controls, and calibrators. These critical products are used globally in conjunction with clinical diagnostic instrumentation to save and improve lives.

    What Will You Do?

    • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production, utility, and facility equipment.
    • Interpret mechanical and electrical plans, technical drawings, drafts, and sketches.
    • Complete all required documentation and data collection for calibrations, PM work, and equipment validations.
    • Work independently to complete tasks while collaborating with other multi-craft personnel to resolve complex technical issues.
    • Document all equipment repairs and modifications for data retention and regulatory compliance.
    • Maintain proficiency with our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Management).
    • Identify calibration and PM deviations, complete reject forms, and dispose of materials according to placard specifications.
    • Restore and program SCADA and HMI panels using vendor-supplied information.
    • Assemble electrical panels using provided drawings and component lists.
    • Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical assemblies and power transmission equipment.
    • Proactively recommend equipment and process improvements.
    • Strictly comply with all industry standard safety regulations, company safety rules, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP).

    Equipment You Will Troubleshoot and Repair:

    • PLC-based control systems, electrical switchgear, and manufacturing equipment utilizing electrical diagrams and PLC software.
    • Digital and analog circuits, as well as AC (up to 480V) and DC motor circuits.
    • Electro-mechanical and electro-pneumatic systems.
    • Facility instrumentation.
    • Labeling, capping, filling, conveying, and palletizing systems.

    How Will You Get Here?

    Education:

    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
    • 2-year Vocational/Technical certificate in electro-mechanical technology preferred.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
