Industrial Operations Intern

Morgan Corp. is seeking candidates for industrial operations internships for the summer of 2027. This opportunity is for students majoring in Engineering, Construction Management, and Agricultural Engineering/Technology, or students who have an interest in the construction industry.

The Morgan Corp. Industrial Division is a heavy industrial general contractor that self-performs structural concrete, structural steel, equipment installation, piping, and electrical scopes in industrial facilities such as power plants, water treatment plants, and manufacturing facilities. Based in Duncan, SC, our Industrial Division works throughout the Southeast.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in office environments and outside in all types of conditions. This position may perform strenuous physical activity for long periods under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out above the shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.

Essential job functions will be to assist Project and Estimating Teams with daily tasks. Roles and responsibilities can vary based on our current project needs, but could include:

• Supporting management and field teams in the construction of various industrial projects
• Track time and quantities for project accounting
• Assist with procurement activities
• Assist with document control
• Assist with project scheduling activities
• Support material take-off and estimating activities
