= INDUSTRIAL PAINTER I 2ND SHIFT

= Competitive Pay $20-$22hr Based on Experience
= Monday Friday
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
Overtime may be mandatory including weekends and/or staying later at the end of your scheduled shift.
< Training: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM, for approximately 2 weeks or longer, as needed.

< POSITION SUMMARY

The Painter I is responsible for preparing and painting parts for use in product assembly while maintaining required quality, productivity, and efficiency specifications.

= ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

" Place individual pieces or racks on conveyor
" Prepare products, pieces, and parts for painting
" Wash parts using a high-pressure washer and wand-type sprayer
" Apply powder coating to the prescribed thickness evenly and consistently
" Mix and apply wet paint with a high degree of quality
" Operate a media blaster
" Properly use designated PPE for the Paint Department
" Follow directions and established procedures
" Perform other duties and functions as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

" High school diploma or equivalent
" 0 1 year of paint application experience in an industrial setting
" Ability to use electrostatic powder coating equipment and wet spray guns
" Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedure manuals, operating manuals, and maintenance manuals
" Basic computer skills
" Ability to read blueprints
" Must maintain good attendance
" Ability to follow directions and work safely

= PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be able to:

" Stand for extended periods of time
" Lift up to 50 lbs.
" Lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally with assistance
" Bend, kneel, and stoop frequently
" Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
" Follow all safety requirements
" Work in small areas as needed to perform job duties
" Work with both arms extended for extended periods
" Climb step ladders and work platforms as needed

< WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this position, employees are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Employees may occasionally be exposed to:
" Fumes or airborne particles
" Toxic or caustic chemicals

= Noise level is usually loud.

= IMPORTANT SCHEDULE INFORMATION

This is a 2nd-shift position, Monday Friday, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM.

Candidates must be flexible for:
Mandatory overtime when required
Possible weekend work
Possible need to stay later at the end of a shift
Approximately 2+ weeks of 1st-shift training, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
