Industrial Pipe Welder / Pipefitter
Palmyra, PA | $30–$40/hour | Full-Time | Direct Hire
We are hiring an experienced Industrial Pipe Welder / Pipefitter for industrial mechanical projects throughout Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.
This is not a production welding position. We need someone with real experience fitting, laying out, and welding industrial piping systems in the field and/or shop environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Fit, lay out, fabricate, and install industrial piping systems
Weld carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
Perform TIG/GTAW and Stick/SMAW welding
Work with process piping, utility piping, and sanitary piping systems
Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
Measure, cut, bevel, fit, and assemble pipe
Perform pipe layout and calculate offsets
Rig and position pipe, equipment, and fabricated components
Perform industrial fabrication, cutting, grinding, and installation work
Work around plant equipment, machinery, structural steel, and industrial systems
Assist with shutdowns, equipment installs, plant maintenance, and related mechanical work
What We're Looking For
Previous industrial pipe welding and/or pipefitting experience
Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
Proficiency with TIG and Stick welding
Ability to perform pipe layout, fitting, and fabrication independently
Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, and P&IDs
Experience with process piping, utility piping, sanitary piping, or plant piping strongly preferred
Experience with rigging and industrial mechanical work is a plus
Must be comfortable working in active industrial and manufacturing environments
Must be willing to complete a weld test, including 6G welding, when required
Must be dependable and able to work overtime and weekends when projects require it
Schedule & Travel
Most projects are located within approximately 1.5 hours of the Palmyra shop, including the Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Allentown areas.
This position may require:

Early starts
Travel to customer facilities
Work inside active industrial plants and manufacturing facilities
Compensation
$30–$40/hour based on experience, welding ability, pipefitting skills, and overall industrial background.
Experienced candidates who can independently fit, lay out, fabricate, and weld industrial piping systems will be considered toward the top of the range.
