Infant Assistant Teacher - Early Childhood Education
Location: The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards, New York, NY
Pay: $18-$20 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday


The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards is seeking a nurturing and dependable Infant Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team.


If you love working with babies and being part of their earliest milestones, you'll work alongside experienced teachers to provide responsive care and create a warm environment where infants feel safe, secure, and supported.


Key Responsibilities

•  Support daily routines in an Infant classroom 
•  Assist with feeding, diapering, sleep, and individualized care routines 
•  Engage infants through sensory play, movement, music, and language 
•  Support early developmental milestones 
•  Provide attentive supervision and responsive care 
•  Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom 
•  Build positive relationships with children and families 
•  Collaborate with Lead Teachers and center leadership 
•  Follow applicable New York City childcare requirements 

Qualifications

•  High school diploma or GED required 
•  Previous childcare or experience working with infants preferred 
•  Professional daycare or early childhood experience is a plus 
•  Patient, nurturing, reliable, and team-oriented 
•  Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements
