What You'll Do:
As a Lead Teacher, you will coordinate daily classroom operations while creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities.
- Observing children's interests and developing meaningful learning experiences.
- Partnering with families through daily communication and updates.
- Maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment.
- Collaborating with fellow educators and school leadership.
- Supporting each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- 1-2 years of classroom experience preferred.
- State-required pre-service training preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed for child care and safety requirements.
- Must meet all background check requirements.
