We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education team in Warren, RI. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants, helping to promote their development and well-being.
Responsibilities
Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and routines for infants.
Provide attentive care and supervision to ensure the safety and comfort of each child.
Support feeding, diapering, and nap time routines as needed.
Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding infant care and progress.
Follow all health and safety guidelines and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
Previous experience as an Infant Teacher Assistant or in a similar role preferred.
Knowledge of infant development and early childhood education principles.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Reliable, patient, and nurturing personality.
