What You'll Do
- Create a warm, safe, loving, and nurturing environment where infants feel secure and supported.
- Provide attentive, responsive care that meets each infant's individual developmental and emotional needs.
- Follow individualized feeding, diapering, and sleeping schedules while maintaining safe sleep practices.
- Support developmental milestones through tummy time, sensory play, music, movement, and age-appropriate activities.
- Implement our L.E.A.P. Curriculum® through engaging, developmentally appropriate infant experiences.
- Observe and celebrate each infant's growth, progress, and achievements.
- Maintain open, positive communication with families through daily updates, our parent communication app, and personal interactions.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and center leadership to maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
- Follow all Texas childcare licensing requirements, health and safety procedures, and center policies.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine love for babies and a passion for early childhood development.
- A patient, nurturing, dependable, and attentive personality.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least two years of professional childcare experience preferred; infant classroom experience is a plus.
- 2+ years of infant care or early childhood education experience highly valued!
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus.
- Knowledge of infant developmental milestones, safe sleep practices, and age-appropriate care.
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to meet Texas childcare licensing requirements.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to providing quality care.
