Job Summary: A Registered nurse who has demonstrated expertise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the hospitals Infection Control program through the knowledge of the principles and practices of Infection control. Minimum Qualifications Has a minimum of 5 years in hospital nursing experience as a registered nurse. Current RI State Nursing License. Completed Infection Control Training Course through APIC within 1-2 years of position. Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) or certification A-IPC within 1-3 years of position.
