Position Title: Infirmary Aide
Infirmary Reports to: Director of Monastery
Under the supervision of the Director of the Monastery Infirmary and in accordance with the established policies and procedure of the Saint Vincent food service, prepares meals for the members of the Saint Vincent community who take their meals in the infirmary dining room.
Provides basic care for the residents and necessary unit tasks and will function in compliance with applicable health care standards, policies, and procedures; under the direction of the nursing supervisor and reports pertinent information to the Monastery Infirmary Director and or Charge Nurse on duty.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma required. Training or education and food service preferred. Recommended CNA licensed or equivalent Medical Technician qualified.
Experience: Work in food service and patient care.

Practices careful and efficient use of supplies and materials.
Participates in orientation of new employees.
Adapts to changing unit needs by organizing priorities.
Attends and participates in unit meetings and job-related educational programs.
