Job Summary

The Information Security Analyst - Exposure Management Lead coordinates the response to urgent cybersecurity exposure events from initial intake through resolution. This role assesses enterprise exposure, coordinates technical and business stakeholders, tracks remediation and mitigation activities, manages escalations, and ensures timely closure with clear accountability and documentation.

The Lead independently manages active exposure events while partnering with senior security leadership and other Exposure Management Leads to maintain continuity, support concurrent events, and drive effective risk reduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cybersecurity exposure events from intake through closure.

• Assess enterprise exposure and coordinate validation activities across technology and security teams.

• Facilitate response meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder communications.

• Track remediation and mitigation activities, ownership, action items, dependencies, and target dates.

• Identify and escalate blockers, risks, and unresolved issues to appropriate leadership or security functions.

• Maintain accurate response records, including exposure assessments, decisions, timelines, status updates, and closure evidence.

• Provide concise status updates and reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.

• Coordinate escalations and structured handoffs with Incident Response, Risk Management, technology teams, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure continuity of ownership and accountability throughout the response lifecycle.

• Participate in post-event reviews and contribute to improvements in playbooks, procedures, templates, and response processes.

• Ensure response activities and documentation support security governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security operations, incident response coordination, technology risk, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex initiatives across multiple technical and business teams.

• Strong organizational, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience managing issues, action plans, dependencies, and remediation activities.

• Ability to prioritize and operate effectively in fast-paced, high-visibility cybersecurity situations.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate situational awareness and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability management, zero-day response, cloud security, or threat intelligence.

• Familiarity with enterprise security tools, ticketing systems, and technology operations.

• Experience working in a regulated industry or highly controlled enterprise environment.

• Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or equivalent.
