The IT Support Specialist I serves as a critical first point of contact within our technical operations team, delivering high-quality assistance to optimize workstation performance and ensure business continuity. This role requires a professional demeanor and a minimum of 6 to 12 months of experience in a technical support or customer-centric environment. The ideal candidate has a proven history of managing and documenting service requests within an IT service management platform, as well as hands-on experience diagnosing hardware, software, and peripheral connectivity issues. Operating under established service level agreements, the specialist will deploy corporate systems, manage basic user access and permissions, and contribute to internal technical documentation. Strong foundational knowledge of Windows and macOS, basic networking protocols, and exceptional communication skills are required to successfully translate technical solutions for non-technical business partners.
