CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.

 

Summary:

The Information System Security Specialist I supports cybersecurity, cloud security, and compliance activities for enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives within the DHA CIMPLE environment. The role assists with protecting systems, applications, and cloud environments supporting mission-critical healthcare operations.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support implementation of cybersecurity controls and RMF requirements.
  • Assist with monitoring and securing cloud computing environments.
  • Support vulnerability assessments, security audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with incident response and remediation activities.
  • Support identity management, access controls, and security monitoring activities.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure secure system configurations.
  • Assist with security testing and validation activities.
Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and RMF processes.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and enterprise infrastructure security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience in developing public, private, hydrid, or multi-Cloud Computing solutions within a Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, and/or Infrastructure as a Service platform to enable data, servers, networks, storage, development tools, and/or applications through a cloud computing environment.
  • Experience required in Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or Azure Cloud providers.
  • The contractor shall have a TOP SECRET (TS) facility clearance (FCL) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access (TS/SCI).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security+, CISSP, or cloud security certification.
  • Experience supporting DHA, DoD, or Federal IT programs.
