Information Systems Specialist III

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The Information Systems Specialist III is responsible for implementing and maintaining information systems (e.g., business systems, networks, standalone systems) and databases.
• The Information Systems Specialist III supports information system owners and information owners in full lifecycle management, data management, business processes management, data structure, and data quality assurance.
• The Information Systems Specialist III assesses information technology requirements.
• The Information Systems Specialist III evaluates alternatives and develops recommendations.
• The Information Systems Specialist III advises the system owner on establishing and/or implementing administrative procedures and policies, technical problems, priorities, and alternatives.
• The Information Systems Specialist III is responsible for the project's long-range technical requirements for continued support in conjunction with other organizational information system initiatives.
• The Information System Specialist III is responsible for supervising and mentoring subordinate project and staff.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
• 5 years of position-relevant work experience.
• DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II. HS and 13 years of experience; Associates and 11 years of experience
• A candidate holding a relevant Masters degree may be granted 2 years experience credit for that extra education.
• A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years experience credit for that extra education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in STEM field.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, or Mongo.

Clearance Requirements:

• Secret

Physical Requirements:

• Use of computers and an ability for productivity in a government office environment.
• Ability to travel and visit various physical customer locations.

The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law. ManTech may choose not to apply for a license for such individuals whose access to export-controlled technology or software source code may require authorization and may decline to proceed with an applicant on that basis alone.
