This position provides excellent customer service to students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff. Also, providing basic troubleshooting and refers more complex issues to Information Technology staff. Essential DutiesProvides professional customer service and responds to Apple device questions.Assists with Apple device deployment and distribution.Provides basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, setup, and connectivity issues.Documents support requests and actions taken.Escalates complex or unresolved issues to Information Technology staff.Protects confidential University, employee, and student information.Performs other related duties as assigned. Required QualificationsAssociate's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.Customer service experience.Familiarity with Apple devices and operating systems.Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.Ability to follow procedures, manage multiple requests, and escalate issues appropriately. Preferred QualificationsExperience with Jamf or another mobile device management system.Apple certification or technical support training.Previous help desk, device deployment, or technical support experience. Conditions of EmploymentThis is a temporary two-week assignment. Employment will end when the assignment concludes.
