Infrastructure Program Manager – Data Center Operations & Vendor Management

The Technology Services PM is responsible for driving and managing services requiring hands and feet in the technology room, such as installations, decommissioning, and information gathering activities. Part and parcel with all activities will be the responsibility for upholding global operating practices and firmwide controls, including but not limited to media management, asset management, access control, and room hygiene.
 
Qualifications/Experience:
  • College degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of business experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating onsite technology infrastructure activities, including hardware installations, deployments, decommissioning, asset inventory, and infrastructure audits across enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience overseeing third-party vendors while ensuring compliance with operational standards related to asset management, media management, access controls, and technology room governance.
  • Working knowledge of technology room components, connectivity, architectures, and operational processes.
  • Experience with Managed Service or alternate Outsourced Vendor models preferred.
  • Proven track record in execution and delivery roles.
  • Excellent vendor management skills
  • SME in Technology Program & Project Management.
 Responsibilities Include:
  • Regional accountability for activities in their assigned technology rooms, including but not limited to incidents, requests, programs, and initiatives.
  • Support the build of new sites by providing stakeholder input into the design process and by overseeing the preparation of the spaces for operations and their formal acceptance into the operations portfolio.
  • Visit each technology space every two years, performing an inspection on control areas such as media management, asset management, access control, and room hygiene. Document issues in WTS's platform, Oversite, and remediate.
  • Responsible for the overall lifecycle of hardware and media, including installation, ongoing support, decommissioning, storage, tracking, and destruction, in accordance with the firm's processes and policies for technology asset destruction.
  • Manage third-party strategic vendor for technician dispatches and work within the portfolio of technology rooms, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Plan and execute internal initiatives to improve service quality and stability.
  • Provide regular status updates on risks, accomplishments, and upcoming activities within the region.
  • Drive continual service improvement both internally and externally with vendors.
