Seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to support Remote Site Operations within a large enterprise technology organization. This team provides operational oversight for corporate technology spaces, including Main Equipment Rooms (MERs), Telecommunications Rooms (TRs), and Colocation Facilities, ensuring they meet operational, security, and infrastructure standards.

This role is responsible for coordinating and managing technology room activities requiring onsite "hands and feet" support, including hardware installations, decommissioning, infrastructure readiness, and information gathering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise infrastructure, technology operations, vendor management, and program delivery within complex IT environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology infrastructure, program management, or technology operations initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing data center, MER, TR, or other enterprise technology room environments.
  • Experience coordinating hardware installations, hardware refreshes, decommissioning, infrastructure migrations, and technology asset lifecycle activities.
  • Strong vendor management experience, including Managed Service Providers (MSPs), technician dispatch, and third-party service delivery.
  • Experience supporting enterprise operational controls, including asset management, media management, access control, infrastructure governance, and operational compliance.
  • Proven experience leading complex infrastructure programs across cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within Managed Services or outsourced operational models is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide regional oversight for technology room operations, supporting incidents, service requests, projects, and strategic initiatives across assigned locations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders during new site builds, providing input into technology room design, operational readiness, and formal transition into production support.
  • Coordinate and oversee hardware installations, deployments, decommissioning activities, technology asset tracking, and media lifecycle management.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of MERs, TRs, and other technology spaces to ensure compliance with operational standards, including asset management, media management, access controls, and room hygiene.
  • Manage the complete hardware lifecycle, including installation, support, storage, inventory, tracking, decommissioning, and secure technology asset disposal.
  • Coordinate and manage third-party vendors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and technician dispatches supporting enterprise technology environments.
  • Drive operational consistency through infrastructure governance, process improvements, and continual service improvement initiatives.
  • Provide regular communication to leadership regarding project status, risks, issues, accomplishments, and upcoming regional activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Infrastructure teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of operational and project objectives.
