Role: Infrastructure Technician Level 2 and 3
Contract Duration: 3 – 6 months Contract with possible extension
Location: Onsite in Abilene, TX

Pay Range: $30-$36.00/Hour
Infrastructure Technician 3
Pay Range: $35-$42.00/HR

Infrastructure Technician 2
Pay Range: $30-$36.00/Hour
- 3–5 years of telecom/structured cabling experience (data center experience a strong plus).
- Install, test, service, and decommission structured cabling systems including fiber optics, copper, communications, and other low voltage systems.
- Build and remove cabinets, racks, cable trays, pathways, and related data center infrastructure.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- OSHA10 preferred (must obtain within 90 days).
- First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days.
- FOA certifications, BICSI cabling certifications, or similar credentials preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Infrastructure Technician 3
Pay Range: $35-$42.00/HR
- 5+ years installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling systems
- Previous experience leading teams, mentors junior techs, and ensures safe, quality focused execution
- Proven ability to install, terminate, test, and certify copper and fiber systems
- Experience with major manufacturers (Panduit, CommScope, Corning, Leviton, etc.) preferred
- Understanding of NEC, ANSI, TIA, EIA, and BICSI standards
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- BICSI Technician Certification highly desired
- OSHA10 preferred (must obtain within 90 days).
- First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days.
- Required Tools - Snips, basic hand tools, steel/composite toe boots, VFL (preferred), cordless drill/impact, pliers, testers, punch tools, tape measure, level, flashlight/headlamp, and more.
