Injection Process Technician
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
Pay: $36.14/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Injection Process Technician to support injection molding operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for machine setup, mold changes, process monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring production meets safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform mold/tool changes following safety procedures.
- Support machine startups, process adjustments, and quality checks.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues.
- Monitor production performance and document process data.
- Enter production information into manufacturing systems (SAP, MATTEC, etc.).
- Follow all HSE requirements, including LOTO and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of injection molding experience.
- Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing processes preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
