Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Certifications Requirements:
    • Current Physical Therapy license from the State of California
    • Current CPR certification
    • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health, or inpatient settings
  • Other Requirements:
    • Eligible to be insured under the Medical Center’s Liability Policy with DMV Report (and minimum age 21)
    • Proof of current auto insurance coverage (no business exclusion)
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to meet their rehabilitative needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercises, and modalities, to improve patient mobility and function.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, documenting outcomes accurately in patient records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimize recovery outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
