Position Summary: 
Mid‑Atlantic Packaging is a family-owned company built on long-standing customer relationships, quality products, and dependable service. We are seeking an Inside Account Manager to support and service an established group of customers by managing repeat packaging orders and providing consistent, responsive support.


This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, values teamwork, and understands that strong relationships—both internal and external—are the foundation of our success.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted, day-to-day contact for existing customer accounts 
  • Manage repeat packaging orders from quote to delivery, ensuring accuracy in pricing, lead times, and specifications
  • Enter and maintain customer orders in the company’s ERP/CRM system with a strong attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding order status, changes, and delivery timing
  • Work closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Handle customer issues with a practical, solutions-oriented approach
  • Maintain organized records of customer pricing, order history, and packaging specifications
  • Anticipate reorder needs and help customers plan to avoid disruptions
  • Look for opportunities to strengthen relationships and grow business within existing accounts
Requirements and Skills: 
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, or customer service—preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or distribution
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple ongoing customer needs
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, and Outlook) 
  • Clear, professional communication skills (phone and email)
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Job Type: 
  • Full-time, Monday to Thursday, 9 AM - 5 PM, and Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM
