Responsibilities

Inside sales, contacting current clients to review and cross-sell their current accounts. Setting appointments to introduce current clients to new products and services offered by the agency. Contacting leads provided by the agency owner to gather information needed for quoting insurance products. While Sales production is your primary role, other duties may be required from time-to-time, as specified by the agency owner.

• Managing Inbound Leads: Immediately responding to inbound phone calls, website inquiries, and warm transfers from marketing campaigns.
• Outbound Cold Calling: Contacting targeted lists of prospects, referrals, and aged leads to pitch new policy options.
• Daily Prospecting: Dedicating structured time daily to generating new opportunities via digital networking and email outreach.
• Assessing Needs: Interviewing prospects over the phone to evaluate their financial situations, current coverage gaps, and overall risk profiles.
• Generating Quotes: Using agency and carrier software platforms to calculate accurate premium rates and deductibles.
• Policy Customization: Explaining various policy features (e.g., deductibles, limits, exclusions) and tailoring packagessuch as auto, home, or life insuranceto fit the client's budget and needs.
• Overcoming Objections: Pitching the value of the coverage, handling price objections, and closing the sale directly over the phone.
• Binding Coverage: Processing the official application and setting up initial payment methods to activate the policy.
• CRM Management: Logging all call notes, quotes, and client interactions inside a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance License in the state of Alabama.
• Experience prospecting and managing insurance accounts or inside sales.
• Strong command of agency management software and digital documentation.
• Clear, empathetic communication skills for client interactions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy office setting.
• Professional experience with insurance policy renewal processes.
