Position SummaryThe position is responsible for generating potential leads and managing inbound and outbound customer leads. This role acts as the first point of contact for prospective customers, qualifying needs, setting appointments, and supporting the outside sales team by ensuring consistent follow-up and accurate lead management. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and comfortable working with commercial truck equipment buyers including end users from small businesses to larger fleets and municipalities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Management & Customer EngagementRespond promptly to inbound phone calls, emails, website inquiries, and digital leads related to truck equipment and upfitsMake outbound follow-up calls to prospects, past customers, and leads generated by marketing campaigns.Conduct searches for potential leads.Utilize RM to identify past customers and leads that are not active.Utilize Gov Spend, UCC filings and similar data sources to identify potential leads.Qualify customer needs such as truck type, body requirements, application, usage, budget, and timelineAccurately log all customer interactions in the RM systemAppointment Setting & Sales SupportSchedule appointments for sales representatives with qualified prospectsConfirm appointments and ensure customers are prepared with required informationCommunicate customer needs and expectations clearly to the sales teamSupport sales reps with follow-up communication before and after appointmentsRM & Administrative DutiesMaintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date RM recordsTrack lead sources and follow-up activityAssist with customer satisfaction calls and post-sale follow-upsSupport basic reporting on lead volume, appointments set, and conversion metricsCustomer ServiceProvide professional, courteous communication at all timesAnswer general questions about truck bodies, equipment options, lead times, and processesResolve or escalate customer concerns as neededRepresent the company brand positively with customersQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of experience in BDC, call center, inside sales, or customer service (automotive or commercial preferred)Strong phone and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneouslyBasic computer proficiency and experience with CRM systemsPreferredFamiliar with truck equipment, commercial vehicles, or fleet salesKnowledge of truck bodies, upfitting, or vocational truck applicationsSales-oriented mindset with a customer-service approachKey Skills & CompetenciesProfessional phone presenceStrong listening and needs-assessment skillsTime management and follow-up disciplineDetail-oriented and organizedComfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
