Inside Sales Representative

gpac, a recruiting firm with 30+ years in business, is partnered with a well-established company in the structural steel and metals fabrication industry in the Eau Claire, WI area. Our client is seeking a Sales professional (inside or outside) to grow customer accounts and win new work.

Position Responsibilities:

- Develop new customers and grow existing accounts

- Build relationships with contractors, owners, and designers

- Respond to inquiries and prepare or support quotes

- Work with estimating on proposals and pricing

- Meet sales goals

Position Essential Job Functions:

- Prospect, call, and visit customers; attend industry events (outside roles)

- Present company capabilities and proposals

- Follow up on bids and open quotes and negotiate

- Track pipeline and activity in CRM

- Coordinate awarded work and orders with operations

Position Skills:

- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in steel, metals, metal buildings, or construction

- Strong communication and relationship skills

- Self-motivated and goal-driven

- Ability to read construction drawings a plus

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for outside roles
