The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing premier customer service to all current and potential customers from the point of initial contact through delivery of the product. The Inside Sales Representative must also achieve sales and profit goals established by the management team at TEK Northeast. (TEK)

  • Increase sales and provide support for current customer base as assigned
  • Meet daily, weekly and monthly sales goals set by management, i.e. dollars booked and calls per day
  • Promptly respond to Request for Quotes for current and potential customers. Overall goal is no later than 24 hours per RFQ.
  • Provide technical assistance and solutions for customer returns.
  • Formulate analysis of sales data to assist in establishing specific account pricing.
  • Perform follow up on all quotations in a timely manner.
  • Proactively review open orders and advise customers of delivery status changes.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment based on teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with other Inside Sales Representatives, Outside Sales and management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of sales experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, sales, marketing or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in sales and marketing
  • Market experience with the ability to recognize opportunities
