What You Will Be Doing:
As the Intern-Admin for Yancey Bros. Co. You will be responsible for driving sales, supporting the sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage customer communications, analyze industry trends, and help grow new business. Working closely with the Sales Manager, other internal departments, and field representatives, you will assist in following up with past customers, monitoring competitors, and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:
- Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Assist the Equipment Management Onboarding team with administrative sales support.
- Inform customers of Yancey Bros. Co. commitment to superior service and prepare them for upcoming customer surveys.
- Assist in digital marketing with our Retail & Small Core customer base.
- Assist the sales team with business plans, quotes, and customer interactions.
- Cross Department Collaboration:
- Coordinate with Sales Representatives, Service Managers, and Shop Teams to ensure service availability and efficient request fulfillment.
- Work closely with branch managers, dispatchers, and coordinators to ensure proper documentation and contract execution.
- Maintain a safety-conscious work environment, both inside and outside the office.
- Help ensure all customer calls are answered quickly and efficiently.
- Manage out live chat agent via Yancey Bros. Co. website.
- Sales Link & Administrative Support:
- Assist sales representatives in ensuring accurate and timely Sales Link activity.
- Manager daily customer activities in collaboration with the Service Operations Manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Generate sales leads for machine and aftermarket reps via live chat agent.
- Back up CVA concierge in daily work order tracking/management.
- Office Duties:
- Assist with daily customer activities and provide support to the rental operations team.
- Coordinate with the Service Manager to stay updated on equipment availability and customer order fulfillment.
- Shop Duties:
- Ensure communication with the Service Manager regarding equipment availability.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned by manager
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have experience with service operations and data administration. You should possess proven experience managing projects, as well as excellent problems solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to this position as well.
Education/Experience:
- The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years of experience and/or training in Account Management, or other customer service positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to work 20+ hours a week at our Austell location
- This will be about a 3 month internship with the potential to extend
- A strong understanding of sales, customer service, and rental business processes.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage a diverse set of responsibilities effectively.

Environmental Job Requirements:
- Environment:
- Typically works in a temperature-controlled office. Much of your time may be spent sitting.
- At times, may be exposed to loud noises, vibrations, strong odors, flammable liquids and gases, oils, and solvents.
- Physical:
- May require appropriate Personal Protection Equipment to be worn if in a shop environment.
- Requires ability to lift, carry, and lower 15+ lbs.
- Requires ability to push/pull, reach, bend/twist, etc., as well as crouch, stoop, squat, kneel/crawl, and climb/step.
- Travel:
- Does not typically require travel.
