    Description


    Your primary goal will be to ensure all budget quotations and value propositions are sent in a timely fashion and to take an active role in the sales team to meet its targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sales Process Execution: Understand all existing sales processes and successful actions to ensure all budget quotations and value propositions are sent in a timely fashion, and actively support sales managers to exceed their sales quotas consistently
    • Prepare and deliver budget quotations and value propositions to clients
    • Assure existing accounts are maintained and identify up-sell opportunities
    • Collaboration and Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate with other groups within the Division, including Production, QA/QC, and Support to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of sales efforts. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork
    • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, follow-ups, and exceptional customer service
    • Support the sales manager and territory managers when traveling to trade shows, conferences, and client meetings
    • Track leads, opportunities, and sales activities, and provide regular reports to the sales manager
    • Work to understand unique client needs and challenges, and effectively communicate how the products division  can provide tailored systems and solutions
    • Developed awareness of industry trends and competitor offerings and communicated key insights back to the management team
    • Maximize efficiency and Productivity: Identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and leverage technology to improve sales results
    • Opportunity Management and Reporting: Ensure the sales team is correctly using all tracking and reporting tools
    • Help Identify and target potential clients in the US and abroad

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelors degree in business, sales, marketing, geotechnical sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 3 years in previous inside sales position
    • Proven track record of success in inside sales specialist roles, preferably in the geotechnical, civil engineering, construction material testing technology, or environmental sectors
    • Strong knowledge of sales principles, strategies, and techniques
    • Exceptional communication and customer-centric interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated, positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate insights
    • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing business environment
    • Experience with CRM and ERP systems (knowledge of SAP is a plus)
    • Proficiency in Salesforce software and sales productivity tools
    • Proficiency in using MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others), Google Sheets, or equivalent
    • Demonstrated ability to improve the sales process
