Inside Sales Specialist Team Lead
The Inside Sales Specialist works closely with Operations and Sales personnel to ensure customer orders are processed and fulfilled in a timely manner to meet forecasted requirements. Typical responsibilities include communicating with customers via email and phone calls. Coordination of customer forecast and order requirements involves communication with toll manufacturers and third-party warehouses. Order management responsibilities include accurate data entry and reporting.
Position Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
1. Prioritize customer engagement to provide timely communication and support.
2. Accurately enter orders into the business operating system
3 Send order acknowledgements to customers
4. Send shipment instructions to warehouses
5. Review order fulfillment status
6. Check product availability and supply
7. Provide tracking information to customers
8. Forecast import and domestic production for customer orders
9. Answer phone calls and emails
10. Assist with preparation of sample shipments.
11. Accurate use and reports of the inventory management system
Competencies:
1. Organizational Skills Ability to maintain a high level of accurate inventory tracking and organization
2. Problem solving Skills-Ability to identify and correct errors, and modify processes as needed
3. Technology Competency- Ability to understand and properly track inventory using handheld scanners and PC in addition to creating labels and shipping
documents.
4. Attention to Detail-Ability to accurately record transactions in the ERP system
5 Quality Awareness - Understand the level of quality required by the automotive industry and perform accordingly.
6. Sense of Responsibility-Understands the importance of maintaining and accurately reporting inventory movement to accomplish company objectives
7. Teamwork ability to work with other employees, vendors and Inside Sales establishing healthy positive work relationships
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelors degree or equivalent.
2. Experience in supply chain or purchasing management.(5-10years)
3. Knowledge and experience in working with MS Office. (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
4. Detail orientated
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Good teamwork with external and internal members.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that can be based out of either the sales office or manufacturing plant.
