Inside Sales

Summary/Objective
The Inside Sales representative will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customers, to create new customers and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction.

1. Sells and promotes the items and products that we have in stock – provide alternative suggestions to customers who request other products, and successfully converts initial customer requests to stock brands.
2. Actively upsells customers on complimentary products beyond original order.
3. Promotes current programs and sales.
4. Follows-though on commitments (communications, bids, existing sales orders, etc.) made to customers.
5. Meets and greets customers at the point of sale with service, respect, and knowledge.
6. Confident and passionate about selling. Always closing and asking for the sale.
7. Demonstrates comprehensive company product knowledge and can articulate competitive advantage.
8. Exhibits positive outlook, camaraderie, and passion for the job.
9. Builds relationships – Learns the value of relationships and views building relationships as a critical success tool.
10. Demonstrates proficiency with related computer systems and applications.
11. Accurately follows procedures to ensure high quality output and takes action to correct quality problems.
12. Solves customer needs by recommending products or services that contribute to their level of satisfaction.
13. Organizes work time to maximize efficiency with a defined time management process.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Travel
Occasional travel is expected with this position for trainings, events, etc.
