Working in office, the Inspection Manager is an administrative leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Fire Life Safety Inspections Department. You will oversee efficient scheduling, ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and operational support for field technicians while maintaining a high standard of customer service.



Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the Fire Life Safety Inspections team.
  • Schedule and coordinate inspections with customers and technicians.
  • Review inspection reports for accuracy and code compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, AHJ requirements, and company procedures.
  • Communicate inspection results and follow-up recommendations to customers.
  • Improve team efficiency and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as required


Inspections you will be responsible for overseeing include:


  • Fire Alarm Systems - Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems - Commercial Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems
  • Fire Extinguishers - Backflow Prevention Assemblies - Smoke Sensitivity Testing
  • ERRC / DAS Systems - Smoke Control Systems - Clean Agent Systems
  • Other specialized fire life safety systems



FIRE ALARM & SPRINKLER INSPECTION MANAGER JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five (5) years fire life safety inspection experience with a variety of systems (i.e. fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems, emerency lights etc.)
  • At least two (2) years supervisory/management experience in fire alarm or fire life safety inspections
  • EL06 or EL01 License, or NICET II or higher OR IPM Certification a strong asset
  • Knowledgeable of building & fire codes for inspection purposes, NFPA codes, local AHJ requirements, and life safety compliance
  • Strong understanding of inspection processes in Washington State
  • Proficient computer skills with a variety of programs and softwares (i.e. scheduling software, inspection reporting platforms, and Microsoft Office)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record


The successfully hired Inspection Manager must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal and Driving).


SHIFT: Days, 7:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Friday).


COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

  • $93,000.00 - $125,000.00/year++
