We are looking for an Inspector for our Infrastructure team!

Responsibilities

• Deliver the OWN Experience every day by focusing on what drives our success—Clients, OWNers, Safety, Quality, and Financial Health.

• Conduct thorough on-site inspections of infrastructure projects, assessing compliance with design specifications, construction standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and objectives.

• Perform measurements, tests, and computations as necessary to accurately assess project progress and compliance.

• Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings, including non-compliance issues and recommendations for corrective action.

• Provide technical assistance and support to contractors and other stakeholders, addressing construction issues and ensuring adherence to project requirements.

• Review and approve contractor submittals, including materials, shop drawings, and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

• Attend project meetings, including pre-construction and progress meetings, actively contributing with your expertise and guidance as needed.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and timely completion.

• Utilize computer applications, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software, to accurately record inspection data and generate reports.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in private land development construction inspection or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards applicable to private land development projects.

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing construction and development activities.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey inspection findings and recommendations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling accurate assessment of project compliance and identification of corrective actions.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a project team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant computer programs to record and report inspection data.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
