Inspector

Department: ProductionReports To: LeadSalary range: $21 - $24Principal Accountabilities:IPC-7711 certified if team indicates the need for more qualified personnel.IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications.Inspect assemblies using 3D AOI system and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class.Inspect assemblies at Final inspection and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class.SMT and Final QA SFE certified and maintain that certification.Complete defect tracking in database.Complete AS9102 FA reports and submit to QA.Operate either x-ray machines per work instructionsOperate AOI systems per work instructions Run in-line and batch washers per work instructionUse MES to track time the status of jobsCreate and complete non-conformances/DMR'sAbility to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion documentation.Help to update procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process.Maintain 5S standards and continually look for ways to improve processes.Follow safety, ESD, ITAR and QMS protocols.Actively participate in Lean activities and embrace change.Follow the procedures as defined in the QMS that pertain to your area or position.Help update procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process.Minimum Qualifications:Knowledge of and ability to inspect to IPC-A-610Inspect through a microscopeExcellent verbal and interpersonal skillsGood writing skillsAbility to work within a teamBasic computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifiedPrior inspection experiencePrior Final Inspection experience in the electronics industry. *Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship*
