Install / Warehouse Flex Helper

Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: Starting at $20/hour; negotiable based on experience

Bear Staffing is partnering with an established designer glass and entry door company to find a dependable, mechanically inclined Install / Warehouse Flex Helper to join their team.

This hands-on role supports warehouse operations, receiving, shop production, and field installations. We re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning, and is willing to jump in wherever the team needs support.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming shipments.

• Verify received materials against packing slips and purchase orders.

• Assist with shop fabrication, assembly, and other production tasks.

• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for installation projects.

• Load and unload company vehicles for deliveries and installations.

• Assist installation crews at customer job sites as needed.

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely once trained and authorized.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shop.

• Follow company safety procedures and handle materials with care.

• Perform other warehouse and shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.

• Mechanical aptitude; basic carpentry skills are a plus.

• Forklift experience or willingness to train and become certified.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently or with a team.

• Willingness to move between warehouse, shop, and installation responsibilities.

• Professional, respectful communication with coworkers and customers.

• Previous warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or installation experience is a plus.

• Valid driver s license preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and carry materials weighing 80+ pounds.

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 100 pounds or more, following safe material-handling procedures.

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.

• Work in warehouse, shop, and outdoor job-site environments.
