Morgan Stanley's Institutional Consulting Solutions (ICS) division oversees more than $1 trillion in AUA and provides institutional clients (e.g., corporations, Taft-Hartley plans, foundations, endowments) with holistic, objective investment advice and a broad set of advisory solutions. The retirement team supports plan sponsor client solutions for all consulting distribution channels and is responsible for $675 billion of AUA. The team supports advisors and consultants as they drive organic business growth, and long-term client retention.
Position Summary:
The Institutional Retirement - Large Market Client Solutions Associate will support key growth initiatives for Morgan Stanley's retirement plan consulting practice within Institutional Consulting Solutions. The role focuses on advancing large ($250M-$1B) and strategic ($1B+) market retirement plan opportunities through pipeline management, cross-functional coordination, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement in support of the firm's "integrated firm" approach.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce leadership-ready materials
Ownership mindset with an entrepreneurial, proactive approach
Collaborative, relationship-oriented style with strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively across functions
Strong organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Excellent problem-solving capabilities with sound business judgment
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Knowledge of investment consulting or a related financial services field (preferred)

Expected base pay rate for the role will be between $70,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short- and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley-sponsored benefit programs.
