Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing IEPs by providing support to students with learning disabilities in both individual and small group settings.Reinforce learning concepts and strategies taught by the special education teacher.Support students in developing organizational skills, study habits, and other strategies to improve their academic performance.Provide support in daily classroom activities, including transitions, materials preparation, and classroom organization.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field is preferred.Experience working with students with learning disabilities or in a special education setting is a plus but not required.Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.Organizational skills and attention to detail. Training: Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate to ensure they are fully equipped to support students effectively.Ongoing professional development opportunities will be available to enhance skills and knowledge in special education practices.
