Job Title: Instructional Designer
Position OverviewThe CDRR Training team is responsible for delivering regulatory-required training related to Cybersecurity and Information Security Policy, as well as Global Technology Policy. The Instructional Designer will design, develop, and rebuild engaging online learning solutions using existing training content and firm-approved design assets. This role will collaborate closely with the CDRR training team and subject matter experts to modernize learning experiences and enhance learner engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable digital learning solutions focused on regulatory-required topics, including cybersecurity and technology procedures.
Build and rebuild online learning courses using internal tools and firm assets.
Utilize tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Articulate AI Assistant.
Edit and provide guidance on course scripts as needed.
Partner with subject matter experts, team members, and stakeholders to ensure training solutions align with business and learning objectives.
Develop course templates for future learning initiatives.
Maintain and update learning assets and documentation within SharePoint and other internal knowledge platforms.
Bachelor's Degree required.
5+ years of instructional design experience for online training.
Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI authoring tools.
Understanding of Accessibility Standards (WCAG).
Experience using collaboration and content management platforms such as SharePoint, Jive, and Microsoft 365 tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical content into learner-friendly material.
Ability to collaborate effectively with senior subject matter experts to develop and refine learning solutions.
Industry background is a strong plus.
Administrative and/or reporting experience with Cornerstone on Demand.
Background in Cybersecurity, Technology, or Compliance training.
