Starting salary is $4,957 per month which is based on $59,480; $28.49 per hour
Position Duties & Responsibilities
Under general direction the Instructional Technician II will perform the following tasks:
Assist with day-to-day activities and services of the nursing lab area, including lab set up, management of lab equipment and supplies
Prepping lab materials
Getting supplies on carts and into the classrooms
Assisting with set up as needed
Completing the daily task checklist or complete delegation of tasks
Operate equipment such as low, medium, and high-fidelity human patient simulators, lab media equipment/systems, and Simulation Scenario Checklist set up and
Completing the Sim Checklist
Completing the set up per the Sim Scenario Supply Checklist
Assist with the development of simulation scenarios
Participating in Sim Team meeting as needed
Providing feedback on scenario progressions
Providing feedback on simulation environment
Ensure that all equipment and supplies are in order and secure before leaving the laboratory
Simulation Checklist for simulation shut down
End of day locking doors
Maintain area for cleanliness as well as safety; oversee sanitation of lab equipment and areas
Act as a safety officer as required
Train faculty on proper handling of equipment and materials and arranging trainings from vendors as necessary
Maintain/update Equipment Tracker and Maintenance Log and supplies
Maintain/update Inventory Location Sheet for easy acquisition
Requisition equipment as necessary
Order supplies as necessary
Replacement or additional and contact appropriate services
Make simple repairs and perform minor maintenance to lab equipment according to lab equipment manuals or contract vendors for appropriate repairs as needed
Identify occurrences of equipment malfunction or breakage and needs for equipment
Assist instructor in individualized and group instruction and use of the equipment in occupational and other instructional classes
Proctor standardized tests to students
May coordinate the work of Instructional Technician I
Direct and instruct student assistants in the Daily Task List
Direct Peer Tutors
Other duties as assigned

Work schedule:
This position's hours will vary based on 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. A regular schedule will be finalized upon hire based. Candidate must be willing and able to work on-site.
