Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

What You'll Do

As an I&C Engineer I, you will support the design and delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient control systems while developing technical and professional skills under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will:

Apply fundamental electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering principles to support project deliverables

• Assist with the design and specification of instrumentation used to safely operate industrial and process systems

• Develop and maintain key I&C documents, including:

• Instrument and I/O Lists

• Wiring and interconnection schematics

• Control system and instrumentation specifications

• Prepare control narratives defining system operation, logic, and monitoring requirements

• Collaborate within multidiscipline engineering teams to advance project designs from concept through execution

• Assist with reviewing, analyzing, and integrating project design requirements

• Learn how to select and adapt engineering approaches, tools, and techniques to meet project objectives

• Support coordination efforts with project team members to achieve successful, timely design outcomes
