ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Insurance Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member for Karen Blandon - State Farm Agent, you will play an important role in both taking care of our existing customers and helping grow our agency.
You’ll assist customers with their day-to-day insurance needs, answer questions, provide policy support, and build strong relationships. At the same time, you’ll look for opportunities to better protect our customers by identifying additional insurance needs and recommending relevant products and services.
We’re looking for someone who understands that
great service creates great sales opportunities. You listen first, build trust, and recognize when there may be additional ways we can help a customer.
This is a
customer service and sales-focused position with commission opportunities in addition to base compensation. If you are attentive, relationship-focused, motivated by goals, and comfortable turning everyday customer conversations into opportunities to help and grow the business, we’d love to have you on our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide friendly, professional service to existing customers by phone, text, email, and in person.
- Assist customers with policy questions, account updates, billing questions, documentation, renewals, and other service needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Review customer accounts and identify opportunities for additional products, coverage, and multiline relationships.
- Have needs-based conversations to understand customers’ insurance needs and provide available product and coverage options.
- Follow up with customers on quotes, coverage recommendations, policy changes, and outstanding needs.
- Generate sales opportunities through everyday customer service interactions.
- Support customer retention and help strengthen relationships with our existing book of business.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and complete necessary follow-up.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve office service, retention, and sales goals.
