Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

Clausen Miller P.C. is seeking a Liability Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join our COVERAGE practice group. The position seeks an experienced Attorney in third party liability insurance coverage defense and consulting.This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney who wants early hands-on experience—including depositions, hearings, and direct client interaction—while working closely with experienced partners in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.What You’ll DoWith direct partner mentorship, you will take an active role in managing cases including:

• Communicating directly with clients and developing strong professional relationships
• Managing written discovery and preparing strategic case analyses
• Drafting and arguing motions and engaging in motion practice
• Conducting and defending depositions
• Appearing in court and participating in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Assisting with trial preparation and post-trial motions, including appeals

• Active license and good standing with the Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin State Bar
• 1–3 years coverage exposure or relevant experience preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational ability
• Self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment

• Competitive compensation: salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000.00 annually DOE.
